About the Event

In today’s society, having a powerful personal brand has never been more important. It gets you seen, talked about, referrals, promotions and access to opportunities unavailable to most. Even within our day to day work, your personal brand represents how your clients, seniors and peers perceive you. In this session, we discuss how to develop a powerful personal brand both inside and outside of your organisation.

For this session, we will be joined by Simon Ong a former Investment Consultant. Having worked in our industry for a number of years, he is well attuned to the power of building your personal brand.

This session is designed to explore:

• How to demonstrate effective leadership, both with peers and clients alike

• How to communicate with and influence people in an impactful way

• Understand the mindset required to scale the career ladder, win your clients’ trust and be seen as a leader

• Key habits that compound to incredible personal and career success over time

Simon Alexander Ong is a public speaker and coach focussing on inspiring people to see their world differently and igniting their imagination of what is truly possible so that they can live a life of meaning, purpose and impact.

He speaks at international events, conferences and corporate events that have included those organised by Google, O2, London School of Economics, DocuSign, Barclays UK, The Institute Of Directors, Virgin, Salesforce, 10 Downing Street, Natwest, Microsoft and Peter Jones Foundation. As a life coach and business strategist, Simon also helps leaders, entrepreneurs and organisations to transcend perceived limitations and experience extraordinary transformations through the power of insight, perspective and energy management.

From a young age, Simon has always been curious about learning and exploring the areas of human potential, leadership and organisational success. This curiosity was accelerated following his departure from the financial industry, in which he began his career in, following graduation from the London School of Economics. Studying the mindset and habits of successful leaders and organisations, Simon enjoys distilling his insights into lessons that can be easily understood and codifying the principles that have had the biggest impact.
